questions)
What is
the deposit amount required?
There is a $100 deposit
that will be collected at the time the party reservation is
made. The balance of the party price will be paid in full
one week prior to the party.
What
happens if I have to cancel my party?
Cancellations made more
than one week prior to the party date will forfeit the $100
deposit. Cancellations made within a week of the party date
will forfeit the entire purchase price of the party. If a
cancellation needs to be made due to an illness or emergency
the party can be re-scheduled for a later date without
forfeiting any deposits.
Do
adults stay during the party?
One adult is required to
attend the parties and we recommend that they bring up to
two guests of their choice to help with getting the girls
dressed and the make-up sessions. We will not have room for
all the parents at the party. Parents will be asked to drop
off their children in time for the party and pick them up
promptly when the party ends. An adult will also need to
stay until all girls have been picked up by their parents.
What
happens if a guest has food allergies?
It will be your
responsibility to check for food allergies. Should any of
your guests have food allergies, we will try our best to be
accommodating. If a guest should have severe allergies, we
recommend that either you or the child’s parent provide an
alternate menu for that child.
Who
takes care of a guest if they become ill, are a behavior
problem, or do not want to participate?
Children will be expected
to behave appropriately throughout the party to ensure the
guest of honor has the best party experience possible. It
will be your responsibility to monitor and take charge if a
child is not behaving, becomes ill, or does not want to
participate.
How do I
reserve a party date?
Parties are booked on a
first come, first serve basis. When a party date and time
have been selected, a deposit will be necessary to secure
your reservation. We suggest booking parties at least 4-6
weeks in advance.
What
forms of payment do you accept?
We accept checks, money
orders, cash and credit cards.
Where
are the parties held?
Parties are held at
Treasured Tea Parties in the tea party house at 61960
janalee pl Bend, OR.
What
time can I have my party?
We will work to accommodate
your schedule.
What
ages are you parties for?
Parties are for children
ages 4 to 10 years of age.
How long
are the parties?
Parties are one and a half
hour in length.
Do you
have a minimum/maximum attendance?
Parties may be scheduled
for up to 8 or more children. If less than 8 attend your
party, you will still be charged for 8 children. Maximum
attendance is 12 but we recommend no more than 10 for the
best party experience for your child.
Are
invitations included?
Custom invitations are
included in the party package price. You supply us with the
guest list, and we will create invitations for you to send
or hand deliver to invited guests.
What
should the children wear?
Girls should wear white
hosiery or tights for the ballerina and fairy parties. Light
colored hosiery or tights should be worn with the dress up
and princess parties. Slips or bathing suits can also be
worn under the dresses and costumes.
When do
you need the final R.S.V.P. count?
You will need to contact me
at least 4 days prior to your party with a RSVP count to
determine the headcount for the event. This will be the
number we use to plan appropriate quantities of food for the
party.
Can
siblings of the guest stay?
As long as they are
supervised. We provide many accessories that contain small
parts at many of the parties and they may not be appropriate
for very small children. The parties are planned for only
the guest of honor and their guests and we are not able to
accommodate unexpected guests or siblings of guests, as we
prepare parties based on the final headcount given to us
prior to the party. Siblings, who are not guests of the
guest of honor will not be permitted to use any equipment at
the party. Our goal is to make the party a special treasured
day for your child and having them be the center of
attention without distractions from younger siblings can be
the best way to have the perfect party for them.
What
happens if guests arrive late?
Because our parties are
based on a schedule, they work best when all guests arrive
on time. Those guests coming late may join the party at
whatever point the party has progressed to.

assumes no responsibility or liability for allergic
reactions or any other medical reaction stemming from the
menu, wearing of costumes, or any activity taken place
before, during and after the party. In the case of liability
and/or financial remuneration due to the aforementioned, the
responsibility lies strictly with the customer. Treasured
Tea Parties is a registered business name in the state of
Oregon and may not be used for any reason without written
consent.
